A 10% rating pays $180.42 a month for a veteran with no dependents, $2,165.04 a year, tax free. Effective December 1, 2025, from the VA's published table.
The 10% rate is flat: federal law adds dependent amounts only at a combined rating of 30% or higher, so a spouse, children, or dependent parents do not change this number. If another rated condition raises your combined rating to 30% or more, the dependent additions start.
