Property tax exemptions

Partial exemption for veterans with a rating of 10 percent or more, and a full homestead exemption for veterans rated permanently and totally disabled.

Out-of-state tuition waiver

The Congressman C.W. Bill Young Tuition Waiver waives out-of-state fees for eligible veterans at Florida public colleges.

No state income tax

Florida has no state income tax, which includes military retirement pay.
